Can I remove my harddrive from my I1545 and plug it into another without problem? Meaning, will my drive work in a different laptop, same model though? Also if so, can I upgrade to a better intel chip model with same harddrive?

As long as the laptop is the same model you will be able to transfer the hard drive. You should be able to upgrade the chip but that depends on the chip you already have.
