Dell Inspiron 1525/1526 LCD Display Assembly Removal and Installation

Removal – Dell Inspiron 1525/1526 LCD Display Assembly

1. Before starting read, Dell Laptop Service Precautions .
   
2. Remove the bottom base access cover.

3. Remove the antenna wires from the mini wireless cards.

4. Loosen the antenna cables from the base assembly antenna routing channel.

5. Remove the (2) 2.5mm x 5mm hinge screws holding the LCD display assembly to the base of the laptop.

6. Take off the power button cover.

7. Remove the keyboard.

8. Unplug the display cable from the motherboard.

9. Unplug the camera cable from the motherboard.

10. Slide antenna wires out of the motherboard and loosen them from the top of the laptop.

11. Unscrew the (2) 2.5mm x 3mm – 10 mm wafer hinge screws from the left display hinge.

12. Unscrew the (2) 2.5mm x 3mm – 10 mm wafer hinge screws from the right display hinge.

13. Lift the 1525/1526 LCD display assembly up away from the base.
