When my Dell XPS M1330 touchpad and keyboard worked fine one night, then would NOT work the next morning, but an external wireless mouse worked fine, I thought the keyboard and touch pad needed replacing. Now that I have done that I STILL don’t have a way to type as nothing has changed. Computer still boots up just fine, so I am stumped. Would the computer still boot up the same as before, but the touchpad and keyboard NOt work if the motherboard went out ?
