Dell Latitude D630 Keyboard Removal and Installation

Removal – Dell Latitude D630 Keyboard

1. Before starting read, Dell Laptop Service Precautions.
   
2. Remove the Battery.

3. Remove the Power Button Cover.

4. Unscrew the (3) 2mm x 3mm screws.

5. Carefully lift the keyboard up, flip it over, and rest it on the palm rest.
6. Unlatch the keyboard cable retaining clip by pivoting the blue clip up.

7. Unplug the keyboard cable by lifting the blue ribbon straight up.

Installation – Dell Latitude D630 Keyboard

1. Plug the keyboard into the motherboard.
2. Secure the cable with the retaining clip.
3. Flip the keyboard over and replace the 3 screws.
4. Replace the Power Button Cover.

5. Replace the Battery.
