Awesome help! I’m a 54-year-old woman and I just took my hard drive and processor out with no help from my husband, who is terrified of electronics. Thanks so much!

Thanks for this tutorial. But what interests me is what should I do after I install new hard drive in it? I have a new and empty hard drive since my old one is about to fail, but I am hesitant to replace it because I don’t know what to do after replacing it. Should I just switch it on insert windows installation disk and install them as I have done previously. Or are there some other steps I should use to install windows on a new/empty hard drive? Your help would be much appreciated .
