While FXI, the Cotton Candy manufacturer is proud to stand out front and take a bow, the identity of the Chinese manufacturer is apparently obscure. The case of the MK802 simply states "android 4.0 mini PC", and it is being sold through Chinese retailers and on websites such as AliExpress, for about US-$74. On the other hand, FXI is a recognized Norway-based hardware and software company.

The Script

FXI has long been in the development stage of the Cotton Candy computer and is just now shipping its first pre-ordered units. Those will be delivered first to Scandinavian customers, second to Europe, and third to the remainder of the world at a later date. Following recent developments, it does not appear that the company will be accepting any further orders, with the current batch being sold as development devices. FXI is said to be seeking a corporate partner to put units into retail sales channels.
