someone just gave me a Dell N5030 but I can’t figure out how to get the lid open. There appear to be 2 latches on the lower front but I can’t figure out how it unlocks. HELP!

The N5030 doesn’t have latches or locks on the lid. It simply lifts up. If it is not moving or cannot open then you may have an issue with the hinges. I am 100% certain it doesn’t have a lock or a latch on the lid.
