I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Among Sony's highly anticipated proclamations during its E3 press conference, Sony announced it will be bringing the PlayStation TV mini console/streaming media device to the U.S. Made as a Japan-only product, it never really got picked up until now. It will be offered in the U.S. this year for $99; or the option of a bundle with a DualShock 3 controller, HDMI cable, 8GB memory card, and voucher for Lego: The Movie Videogame for $139. Now up against big streaming TV rivals like Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV, PlayStation TV will play thousands of titles, as well as stream console games to another TV.
Formerly called the Vita TV, which debuted in 2013 at the Tokyo Game Show, PlayStation TV is smaller than a DVD case. It plays Vita games, streams PlayStation Now games, and can act as a remote hub for your PlayStation 4 so you can play your games in another room. With the console, you can access PlayStation Now, the streaming game service, without having to buy the PS4 or Sony-branded television. Upon the arrival of the box, you immediately gain access to 1,000 games. These include titles from the PlayStation Vita, the PS One, and PSP. As far as your PSN account, PlayStation TV will connect to your account, where you can access the library of PS Now games and apps.
Significant improvements have been invested on the platform. And as far as specs go, PlayStation rounds up a pretty impressive set of hardware, especially taking in the $99 price tag into account. That and the fact that remote play emits the requirement to shell out another $400 to play PS4 games in both a living room, and a bedroom. Hardware includes a Cortex A9 processor, Ethernet, USB 2.0, HDMI ports, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Only 1GB of internal storage may necessitate PS Vita memory cards, which are proprietary and pretty expensive.
