Installation and Removal Instructions

Unsnap & remove the bottom cover.

Step 1

  • Remove the screws.
  • Unsnap & remove the bottom cover.
Unsnap & remove the bottom cover.Remove the screws.
Unplug the cable.

Step 2

  • Remove the screws.
  • Unplug the cable.
  • Remove the battery.
Unplug the cable.Remove the battery.Remove the screws.
Remove the screw.

Step 3

  • Unplug the antenna cables.
  • Remove the screw.
  • Remove the WLAN card.
Remove the screw.Remove the WLAN card.Unplug the antenna cables.
Unplug the cable.

Step 4

  • Remove the screw.
  • Unplug the cable.
  • Remove the fan.
Unplug the cable.Remove the fan.Remove the screw.
Remove & clean the heatsink.

Step 5

  • Loosen the screws.
  • Remove & clean the heatsink.
Remove & clean the heatsink.Loosen the screws.
Loosen & unplug the DC jack.

Step 6

  • Loosen & unplug the DC jack.
Loosen & unplug the DC jack.Loosen & unplug the DC jack.
Remove the circuit board.

Step 7

  • Unplug the cable.
  • Remove the circuit board.

Remove the screws.

Step 8

  • Unplug the SD card cable.
  • Remove the screws.
  • Remove the circuit board.
Remove the screws.Remove the circuit board.Unplug the SD card cable.
Loosen the antenna cables.

Step 9

  • Unplug the display cable.
  • Loosen the antenna cables.
Loosen the antenna cables.Unplug the display cable.
Remove the left hinge screws.

Step 10

  • Remove the right hinge screw.
  • Remove the left hinge screws.
  • Remove the display assembly.
Remove the left hinge screws.Remove the display assembly.Remove the right hinge screw.
Remove the screws.

Step 11

  • Unplug the motherboard cables.
  • Remove the screws.
  • Remove the motherboard.
Remove the screws.Remove the motherboard.Unplug the motherboard cables.
The remaining piece is the palmrest touchpad keyboard.

Step 12

  • Remove the speakers.
  • The remaining piece is the palmrest touchpad keyboard.
