The robots, created at the University of California are able to look through solid walls using, Wi-fi signals. Then also the identify position and outline of unseen objects within a scanned structure, then categorize their composition as metal, timber, or human flesh. This could be used for search and rescue for one! Surveillance, detection and even archaeology!

A new study says Internet Access is correlated with happiness. Being “online” is indicative of many things, such as financial stability, how social you are, and emotional health. How different would we feel if we lost the internet for a few days, a week, a month? This is a good question to ask ourselves.

A Russian crime ring has amassed the largest known collection of stolen internet credentials. This includes 1.2 Billion user name and password combinations, and 500 million email addresses. Who found all this? A Milwaukee firm! Hold Security, who has a history of uncovering significant hacks.

Navdy is a new heads up display device that makes your car act like its wearing some Google Glass. It aims to reduce the dangers of people looking down at their phone all the time, all by displaying the information as if it were floating 6 feet in front of your eyes. Navdy shows smartphone notifications, music, maps and directions, as well as car information like tire pressure, speed, and more. It relies completely on gesture and voice commands so you swipe to answer a call, or talk to it to call somebody.

Ill end on something epic. Check out this new exoskeleton suit. Its super human strength style stuff. Designed and created for shipbuilders, this is like having Iron Man strength. Think of lifting 60 pounds and it feeling like a bag of feathers. And while the humans wear the suits, the stress of the weight is not handled by the body, but the suit itself-- and it is supposed to help the workers handle the machinery accurately and consistently even when the body would normally begin to tire.
