Texting gets the most attention from us...that or playing Candy Crush.China has made separate sidewalks for texters. Sound a little extreme? Well, considering it's hazardous to walk without paying attention to your surroundings, that's good enough reason. Its a 10 foot by 164 foot long segment of pavement, making it the country’s first mobile phone sidewalk. Now, they can swerve and run into other people all they want.

The worlds thinnest tablet, the new Dell Venue 8 7000, measures in at only 6 millimeters thin. It's also packed with features, has a 3D camera using Intel's RealSense depth sensing technology, and can create 3D images with special affects. It does this using three cameras. It also has a fantastic rich color to its display, measuring in at 2560 by 1600 pixels.

The Ecobee 3 is the next stage in smart thermostats. It can tell what room you're in and how often, optimizing your comfort. It comes with sensors that you place in as many rooms as you want, and it will track activity to know if you are upstairs, it can cool it down for you. It also knows timing patterns so if your normal bed time is around 11:00, it will start pre-heating the home for you 30 minutes prior to bed.

Logitech has a new line of products, called Harmony Living Home remote controls. Using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or IR, it lets you control all your IoT devices in your home on one hub.
My favorite example of using home automation is called Good Morning. Imagine waking up, pressing one button and your blinds open, your coffee maker starts up, and your favorite streaming music service starts playing!
