Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude E5550 Web Camera

Remove the screws (6 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Step 1

Remove the screws (6 x M2.5 x 5mm).Pry up & unsnap the access door.Remove the Access Door.Remove the screws (6 x M2.5 x 5mm).
Remove screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 2

Remove screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).Unplug cable.Remove Battery
Pry inner edges of LCD bezel.

Step 3

  • Pry inner edges of LCD bezel.
  • Remove LCD Bezel from assembly.
Pry inner edges of LCD bezel.Remove LCD Bezel from assembly.
Remove LCD screws (4 x M2 x 3mm)

Step 4

  • Remove LCD screws (4 x M2 x 3mm)
  • Flip over LCD display, remove blue protective strip and peel back tape from LCD cable.
  • Gently pull back metal fastener holding in LCD cable.
  • Remove LCD Cable.

Remove camera cable.

Step 5

  • Remove camera cable.
  • Lift camera from adhesive.
  • Remove Web Camera.
