Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude E7470 (P61G001) Motherboard

Loosen the screws.

Step 1

Loosen the screws.Remove the Access Door.Loosen the screws.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm left & right hinge cover screws.

Step 2

Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm left & right hinge cover screws.Remove the left & right Hinge Covers.Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm left & right hinge cover screws.Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm left & right hinge cover screws.
Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm back hinge screws.

Step 3

Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm back hinge screws.Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm back hinge screws.
Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm back edge dock frame screws.

Step 4

Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm back edge dock frame screws.Remove the 4 - M2 x 5mm bottom dock frame screws.Remove the Dock Frame.Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm back edge dock frame screws.
Unplug the cable.

Step 5

Unplug the cable. Remove the 1 - M2 x 5mm screw.Remove the Battery.Unplug the cable.
Separate the clips & remove the RAM memory.

Step 6

Separate the clips & remove the RAM memory.Separate the clips & remove the RAM memory.Separate the clips & remove the RAM memory.
Remove the 1 - M2 x 3mm screw.

Step 7

Remove the 1 - M2 x 3mm screw.Loosen the screw.Remove the bracket.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 5mm screws.

Step 8

  • Remove the 2 - M2 x 5mm screws.
  • Unplug the fan cable.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 5mm screws.Unplug the fan cable.
Remove the 4 - M2 x 3mm heatsink screws.

Step 9

Remove the 4 - M2 x 3mm heatsink screws.Remove & clean the Heatsink/Fan.Remove the 4 - M2 x 3mm heatsink screws.
Remove the 1 - M2 x 3mm screw.

Step 10

  • Remove the 1 - M2 x 3mm screw.
  • Remove the bracket.
Remove the 1 - M2 x 3mm screw.Remove the bracket.
Unplug & loosen the antenna cables.

Step 11

Unplug & loosen the antenna cables.Remove the Wireless WLAN Card.Unplug & loosen the antenna cables.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm screws.

Step 12

  • Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm screws.
  • Remove the bracket.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm screws.Remove the bracket.
Unplug the touchscreen cable.

Step 13

  • Unplug the touchscreen cable.
  • Unplug & loosen the LCD cable.
Unplug the touchscreen cable.Unplug & loosen the LCD cable.Unplug the touchscreen cable.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 5mm bottom hinge screws.

Step 14

Remove the 2 - M2 x 5mm bottom hinge screws.Remove the LCD Display Assembly.
Unplug the DC jack cable.

Step 15

  • Unplug the DC jack cable.
  • Unplug the speaker cable.
  • Unplug LED lights cable.
  • Unplug the CMOS battery cable.
Unplug the DC jack cable.Unplug the speaker cable.Unplug LED lights cable.Unplug the CMOS battery cable.
Unplug the motherboard cables.

Step 16

  • Unplug the motherboard cables.
  • Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm motherboard screws under the memory slots.
  • Remove the 5 - M2 x 5mm motherboard screws.
Unplug the motherboard cables.Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm motherboard screws under the memory slots.Remove the 5 - M2 x 5mm motherboard screws.
Remove the Motherboard.

Step 17

Remove the Motherboard.Remove the Motherboard.
