Installation and Removal Instructions
Inspiron 11-3152 (P20T003) Motherboard

Remove the 9 - M2.5 x 6mm screws.

Step 1

  • Remove the 9 - M2.5 x 6mm screws.
  • Carefully pry up and unsnap the bottom cover.

Remove the Bottom Cover.

Step 2

Remove the 3 - M2.5 x 3mm screws.

Step 3

  • Remove the 3 - M2.5 x 3mm screws.
  • Unplug & loosen the hard drive cable.
Remove the 3 - M2.5 x 3mm screws.Unplug & loosen the hard drive cable.
Remove the Battery.

Step 4

Remove the Battery.Remove the Battery.
Separate the clips and remove the memory.

  • Separate the clips and remove the memory.

Unplug the fan cable.

Step 6

  • Unplug the fan cable.
  • Loosen the heatsink screws.
  • Remove the Heatsink Fan. ***Clean the heatsink and reapply thermal compound before installing the heatsink.***

Loosen the tape.

Step 7

  • Loosen the tape.
  • Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm screws.
  • Lift the caddy out of the laptop.

Step 8

  • Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm screws.
  • Remove the LCD Cable bracket.
Remove the 2 - M2 x 3mm screws.Remove the LCD Cable bracket.
Unplug the display cable.

Step 9

  • Unplug the display cable.
  • Unplug the touchscreen cable.

Unplug the keyboard cable.

Step 10

  • Unplug the keyboard cable.
  • Unplug the touchpad cable.
  • Unplug the speaker cable.

Unplug the DC Jack.

Step 11

Unplug the DC Jack.Remove the 1 - M2 x 2mm Wafer screw.Remove the Motherboard.
