Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse – 20 Buttons Should Be Enough

Logitech's senior global product manager, Mark Starrett, calls the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse the product of "intense, direct testing with experienced MMO gamers", which is the reason that “countless hours of research went into the design" of the 12 buttons on the sculpted thumb panel. Made specifically for massively multiplayer online gamers this mouse sports a total of 20 buttons, and comes with 3 default profiles, right out of the box, stored in its on-board memory. Two of those profiles are designed for MMOs, and one is for general gaming.

If somehow 20 buttons are just not enough, the shift function button can quickly double the number of actions that can be performed with the other buttons.

Function and esthetics come together in the personalization feature making it possible to fully customize the 12 thumb panel buttons with more than 16-million available color combinations, which can be used to identify the active on-board profile. Other lighting effects can also be programmed for the LED back-lighting.

Keep in mind, the customizable profiles, shortcuts, and personal configurations are stored in the mouse itself, so it's ready to use on any PC without installing any drivers at all. Resolution settings can be changed on-the-fly from 200 to 8,200 DPI, and max speed is more than 13 feet-per-second, with a USB report rate of up to 1,000 reports-per-second.

The Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse has a braided, 6.5-foot, USB cable to make it more resilient. The scroll-wheel is both click-able and tilt-able; and the left, right, and third buttons are rated for 20-million clicks. Expect the retail price to be right around US-$80.
